I have an mp3 ringtone. How can I make the tune play for longer before my answerphone kicks in ?

Also, I don't like the point on the mp3 that the ring starts, can I somehow make it start later in the track ?

Sounds like you need to edit it before putting it on your phone.

And you can only have it play for as long as your phone is ringing. Usually this is up to 30 seconds max.

I had to call AT&T for that (to make the phone ring a little longer before voicemail kicks in). They told me it was set at 20 sec only! Since then, they changed it to 30 sec. Oh well, every second helps. lol
