I've had the 8100 for a while and was in love for it, so when I was able to purchase the 8120 I went for it.
Especially since my phone was very very trashed.

So, I followed the instructions on making more memory space, but put a wrong file in the removed modules.

I went back and fixed it.. but my phone responded saying
"App Error 205
Reset"

I had the endless cycle of it hating my guts.

I finally got the OS put on by taking out the battery and connecting via USB on the desktop manager.

The first time I tried to load the OS, I used the Loader program in the Apploader folder.
I selected to back it up.. obviously.

Well now that I have the new OS up I went to restore messages, contacts, pictures... the usual.

I found the backup in My Documents named "LoaderBackup-(2009-03-17).ipd

But when I go to the Desktop Manager, it will not find the file to restore it.

I even have another file from before (2008 sadly) and it will not find that either.


I am practically desperate to get it back.


Is there any hope for me?

I finally was able to restore all my information from earlier today.

But I removed the extra themes and VAD but they are still showing up on my device.

If I try to run the application loader, it makes no difference. It is still showing up on my device.

I tried a battery pull to see if it made any difference and it still isn't.
