Hi,
I have several personal email accounts on my Pearl but I only want email to come through when I ask the phone to check the server. Is this possible? Otherwise, I have many emails on my phone that I've already read and deleted off of my computer.

I tried finding some options in the messages>email settings panel but I don't have the options mentioned in the manual. I think this is the Send Email to Handheld option. But I don't have it. I don't suppose there is anything like a "send and receive all" sort of thing is there?

Also I can't seem to figure out which model I have. It isn't anywhere on any documentation that i have.

BlackBerry is instant email, or 15 minutes if set for 'odd' POP3 accounts, i.e. account other than GMail, Hotmail and Yahoo...

So is there anyway to turn off email for a while without deleting the accounts?

Modify your accounts in BIS. I believe there is a filter you can add to thus NOT send emails to your BlackBerry...
