so ive had my blackberry 8130 for almost a year i havent really messed with it to much since i still dont know a lot about the phone so im still finding out a lot about it. but anyways i wanted to change my trackball and on cnn.cn i saw that they sell the black trackball for the T-Mobile G1. and i was wondering if any on the site has swapped out the regular blackberry one for the G1 black trackball??
Yep I did and its simple. I used a small flat head screwdriver and pried the chrome ring off then you just turn the phone over into your palm and the ball housing falls out. Go for the g1 ball its sweet !
If I did not have to take my Bold apart to replace the track ball, I would use the G1 as well. I dont want to void my warranty. But I did use the G1 on my Curve.
