I have seen several threads on how to turn the red LED indicator light off by going under "Profiles". However, whenever I go under profiles all it lets me do is change my ring volume. Am I missing something? How do I get it to stop?

Hi, it's not in profiles. You must go to "options" then "screen/keyboard" scroll down and you'll see LED indicator... just change option to off.

Are you trying to get it to not flash at all when you get a message or is it continuously flashing even when you have no message waiting?

My Pearl had the second condition and I solved it by downloading LEDReset. I think the app is free and it instantly kills the LED when it develops a mind of its own.
