I've had my Pearl for over a year and have had ZERO problems with it until today! I get an "error message" stating "RADIO OFF" and then I have to select "RECONNECT" on the screen. I then get a flood of emails, text messages, and voicemails which were not received while my phone wasn't connected. Did I hit something inadvertently???

If there is a lost of data or signal the bb will go to the radio off mode. It really does not happen to often. Think maybe once or twice with me. Just go to manage connections and select to turn all connections on and that will take care of the problem.

Mine does that occasionally at home because I get awful reception in my house. It's as though it searches for awhile and finally gives up when it can't find a signal. It's really irritating.

It will do that, to keep itself from completely draining the battery. Otherwise in short order you'd have less than no signal.
