how do i put JAD and JAR files on my BB

They are meant to be installed Over The Air from the BB browser.

If you have the jad or jar file you can copy them to you BB (preferably to a media card) then open media player > click the menu button (left of trackball) and then select explore. From there navigate to where you saved the the jar or jad, click the trackball and that should get you going.
