    Why is my Blackberry Pearl not making noise when I scroll through icons? I just noticed today that it was not making that clicking sound. I am on loud so volume should not be a problem...

    If you go to Options> screen/keyboard> TrackBall> Audible roll> Select Mute or Click.

    Go into options -> screen/keyboar and verify the option is on. If so then do a soft reboot.

    Um--maybe you turned the audible roll off.

    Options>Screen/Keyboard>scroll down to trackball---audible roll

    *personally* I keep mine off.

    Thanks guys. It was set to mute. I did not change the setting though. Is it possible my Carrier makes it come like that? I don't like the noise anyway
