My pearl's OS is v.4.3.0.127. I was wondering if I should upgrade my OS? if so, how? and will it affect my settings and apps I have installed?

the upgrade will do a lot for your phone however make sure you do it properly

it will keep the apps you installed or it can get rid of them its up to you while loading it
---(it will take you to the app loader screen and you will choose what apps to keep on your phone)

I believe settings are reset but its really not hard to put those back up

bonoz, there are pluses to 4.5 like html email better browser and media player. But it can be difficult and not done properly can brick your berry and cause you much stress. The os has not been officially released by your carrier so it gets technical. Any idea on when Sprint will release the new OS for their phones?
