I have a spare Pearl 8100 and plan on replacing some of the worn out peices on it. I like the sleeker look of the 8120 keyboard and I am wondering if both keyboards can be interchanged?

    Welcome to Crackberry.

Dunno, try it but be careful. RIM tends to make only what they need and this may mean the keyboards are different. You could ask the guys over at Cellular Accessories - Apple, Sony, Tools, Nokia, Mobiado, Dopod/O2, Panasonic, LG, Microsoft, BenQ-Sie who sell both.

No, it does not appear they can be. Go to the site in Pete6's post and take a look.
It appears on the 8110, 8120, 8130 the trackball assembly is integrated into the keyboard, whereas on the 8100 it is not.

Thanks for the replies. I did check out the site and took apart my Pearl, and your right. They both are different which is a bummer. But since its my spare, I might mod it to work. Thanks again.
