When I plugged my phone into my computer to back up last week it upgraded my Blackberry 9105 to 6.0 Bundle 2950. The user face itself I can get used to if I have to but since it's upgraded I don't have blackberry app world and when I use my browser it keeps saying that the page it's downloading is too big and that it has to close which is very annoying when your trying to search something on the move! I've read a few posts which seem to suggest going back to version 5 (my computer is xp) but have failed to find how to do it. Any help on making my version 6 workable or downgrading back to 5 would be gratefully received, thanks!

now it sounds like the desktop manager updated the device for u. this is the basis of most of your issues, as some of the settings transferred from the backup made during the upgrade process are not compatible with os 5. i recommend doing a factory reset to begin with and then a selective restore of only necessary data (addresses, contacts, etc). it will free up the browser resources and u won't be getting the page too large error. use mobile.blackberry.com to get appworld back or over wifi navigate through us.blackberry.com

You can download the latest OS6.0 Bundle 3160 which have great performance, faster and bigger memory left.
