I have a couple of issues with my Pearl...

1) the "pearl" no longer lights up brightly and appears to be red. It also has a sticky feel to it. Is there a way to remove the tracking ball for cleaning?

2) After I installed a couple Free Aps, I unstalled them after some use. When I was uninstalling the aps, it said to totally remove the program I will need to "restart" the BB. How do I restart?? Because turning it off and on does not finished the uninstall (the icons are still there)

2) do a battery pull to reset your phone. that should get rid of the icons you deleted from the applications menu.

That works!! The good ol' remove the battery trick seems to be the best way to "reset" and/or "restart". Thanks!

Now I'm off to find a nice corner to remove the trackingball... (if that sounds weird, sorry)
