I have the 8230 and sometimes when im searching for someones name in my contact list this window pops up. It says: Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException. Then you have to hit OK to get to do anything else with the phone. help me out. thanks

Thank you! Finally someont else than me. I have tried every OS and still get it. Get on the phone with CS and have then send you a replacement 8230. I have been told this is a software issue. If more people report this error to your companies, we may get some answers why this happen.

I've never gotten it. Perhaps if you both list the third party apps you have we could find a trend.

No third party apps. No Data. Tried every OS, Plus TMO tech support And RIM tech support.
