I suggested that a portion of the sale of these devices go to breast cancer research or for cancer awareness.
What do you think of that? Seemed to me that it would be a great way for RIM to give back to one of the biggest diseases that effects us all in one way or another.
I wouldn't buy it, perhaps for my wife. I think that it would do well. I hate to say it but the pink RAZR did well when it came out... so if it worked for a mediocre device, why not a Berry?

My thoughts exactly...I know a few girls who would buy it already!
I think that would be great! However doubt it will happen.
That would be right up Verizon's alley...they made a killing with the pink Razr, so why not a pink BlackBerry; it would help BB cut into that lucrative mass female consumer market...I guess it would be a PinkBerry?
if part of the proceeds went to BC research (Komen, etc), I'd be so ON it!!!!! I work in a small company of 100 employees and we have 3 survivors on staff. Race for the Cure is a HUGE charity for us!!!!!
I'm all for find a Cure for Breast Cancer--but (and here's where I get on soapbox).....Why does it always have to be the 'pretty'(this is how its referred to by some) cancer. Why can't it just be Cancer research in General????
My mom passed away in July of Lung Cancer --yes, she was a smoker, but who the heck cares--CANCER is CANCER is CANCER.
I only wish for research for funding be divvied up so that all cancers can get closer to cures and better treatments.
My mom lived 7 weeks from diagnosis--not long enough....she was only 50.
/off soapbox.
