Do i need the blackberry data package to use my Blackberry messanger?


I have the BlackBerry Feature Enabler: This no cost feature allows customers with certain Blackberry devices who are not signed up for BlackBerry service to enjoy phone features such as Picture Messaging, Instant Messaging and t-zones.
I guess this doesnt count huh?

nope, you need the "Blackberry" Data package to use the Blackberry Messanger. i know for a fact, i have the BB DP and my wife does not... i can use it... she cannot .... and she has the options that you are refering to.
