    How do i set up a pin for my phone(8230)? I am new to blackberry. And how does it work? Any help is appreciated.

    Your BB already has a PIN (it's linked to the device). Go to options > status and it's listed there...

    also you can hold alt and type RACE it will show your phone info ( this works on 8220 for sure may work on 8230 too)
