I have tried several times to install the trial version of pimp my pearl using the OTA address http://mobireport.com/pmp/demo.jad it displays a bunch of info on a page but never prompts me for an install or anything like that. Any suggestions? I really want to try this app for my status indicator light.

The website for Handmark, where Pimp my Pearl is sold, says that the only supported device is the 8100. I assume based on you posting in this forum that you have a different model that wouldn't be supported (8110, 8120, 8130), correct?

On the 8130, it change the color on th LED indicator only, not the trackball. If that address doesn't work, you might have to try the zip file on your PC.
