I got the BB Pearl 8100 for Christmas (like two days go or whatever) and it's been texting fine, then last night I downloaded [quite a bit] of ring tones using my USB cable. I went to my inbox and I realized that my phone deleted all of my texts, so I tried to send a text, it sent, then I went out of my inbox, went back and it was gone; so were all my calls. I'm wondering if this could be because I'm lacking space? Or more likely.. a *gulp* virus?

NO VIRUS! This is your Blackberry's way of creating more memory space for your ringtones! I suggest getting a Media card ans saving all ringtones and pics on that so you do not have to sacrifice devise memory!

Alright, thank you, yeah I deleted some of the ringtones and now it seems to be working okay!! How much are those memory card thingys?

Depending on the size you get, they start at about $29. I got a 2GB for $49.
