Hi Folks,
With my previous Pearl I had a charge cradle that was very convenient to place the Pearl on it and without plugging in any wires it charged away.
With the 9100 that have changed the location of the �charging bar� and the old cradle does not work. I have not been able to locate a similar cradle for the 9100. Can anyone tell me where to get such a thing ?

Yes- but as the saying goes "where there is a will ,there is a way"
I'm hoping someone comes up with an easier way to charge it .

If there's no charging contacts, how do you expect any of us to tell you other ways of charging it?

well where there is a will there is a...I am drilling contacts into mine when I get home tonight. on another note, what a stupid thing to leave off - in the past if or I should say when a usb port died one had a backup way to charge the sucker. RIM does stupid things, there is just no getting around it.

This was pretty dumb of RIM but simply a drawback of the 9100. At least the battery life is pretty awesome.

How long is your battery life? I'm looking at picking up a 9100 for fun and maybe as a weekend device...

If you use 2G only, and disable WiFi/Bluetooth you should last 3 days!
