This is the 4th or 5th time it has just randomly deleted all my texted messages and left only my emails. It also at the same time deletes my call log to empty. I would like to know why that is doing this and how to stop it!

You probably have memory issues. Go to status in settings and make sure its above 12000000. If its not delete pictures and applications from your device you don't use.
