I am new to thisforum and have a question I hope someone can answer. I have a pearl 8100 which is no longer on a contract as I have a new phone. However I want to keep the phone and use it on a PAYGO O2 simm. Using this SIM I can phone and text etc but I can't access the web. O2 say that it is not possible as blackberry's are set up for pay monthly contracts. Is this True OR can I change the settings somewhere in the phone so that I can use the pago sim to access the web!
Hmm, I bet you can't get / use emails, can you? That tells me the 'data' side of things is not active, and that would make sense since most, if not all companies want a regular contract for data service...
I sell Pearl to friend and he uses PAYasGO T-mobile Croatia. He can't send and recive MMS but this will be resolved in 4.3 version and can access web pages. Pearl uses W'n'W data service...
