Hi, i recently just got a Blackberry Curve as a graduation present. im setting it up atm, and i turned off "Restrict my Identity" and etc, but everytime i make a outgoing call it still shows me as private or unknown on other peoples phone.

How do i fix this?

Press on your green key, go to options, General Options,Restrict my identity and turn it to "off" or "always show"

i've done that, turned it OFF but whenever i make a call still, it still shows me as Private or Unknown on other peoples phones and etc.

reset as in turn on turn off, or reset as in reset the whole phone to default/store settings?

Take the battery cover off the phone and completely remove the battery from the phone for a minute. Then reinsert the battery and battery cover.
