I have been trying to download operamini on my BB 8120 phone. It says it downloads fine, but when it is being installed, it quits about 3/4 of the way through with the message: ERROR. Failed to connect to the internet. Are there settings that have to be unlocked? We did not subscribe to the blackberry internet because we are using a hotspot package and were told we could get online with the wifi (we have been able to with the included browser). Please help!
Welcome to CB. I will also echo what Garz stated. Opera Mini isn't designed to connect over a wifi connection. As far as I know, Opera Mini is the only alternative browser for the BB other than the BB browser that comes on the phone.
Thanks for your help. I guess I'll take it into the T-Mobile store and let the salesperson who told me it was possible figure out a way to get it on my phone
