I know this may be sacrilege but I don't use Messenger at all. Is there a way to disable it so it's not continuously running or okay to delete it without compromising stability? Thanks!

advance under option then applications then bbmessenger, then delete

I deleted the BB messenger and it's still stable.
I had to take out the battery a few times for it to be gone.
