As a new 9105 user can anyone advise me if it sorts out the "selecting multiple messages" issue?? I've used BB's for about 8 years and been very happy but this issue is driving me crazy and it's only day 2 of using it!
I remember this coming up a while ago and an os update solving it. did you update to this os and you are still having the issue? if not, try the update - there is no magic wand, either it fixes the issue or it does not. the device is fine, its the os

I've updated to Bell 5.0.0.748 but having problems getting this Pelephone new OS to load, BB device manager says it's not compatible despite me having deleted Vendor.xml
EDIT: - have managed to get it installed and it DOES fix the selecting multiple messages issue.
Cheers

Huh, anybody else have been test out this build? I haven't install it yet but I want to know more about bugs or memory/battery leaks.... With my .884 build I run smoothly my Pearl.
if you just run it for a day and then do a battery pull it will fix the battery life....I've had to do this with every version I've installed....after that it works great and battery life is normal
Hi
I seem to have lost funtionality after installing this update.
I used to be able to switch my profile from normal to vibrate by pressing one key (#). it doesnt work now. and yes i know i could scroll the cursor to close to the top of the screen, (after i put on my glasses), try and line the cursor up with the profile icon, then scroll down to select vibrate and click save. This alot more work. I'm sure Rim actually reassigned the one touch switch to a new "key" - can anyone tell me what it is ?
I install it and I don't have any issues so far, maritimer, I'm still able to switch between profiles with # key so I don't know if you maybe have any other configuration issues when you install it.
But I have to admit, the .884 its so far the best build ever for the 9100.
