My 8100 pearl yhis is the prob all of a sudden when textin or emailing the (zx) key is y and (ty) is z can someone tell me what went wrong did a reinstall of my os an same thing

Nah all I did was change the housing everything else works perfect

Oh then my guess is you messed something up during that process. Most likely a hardware issue. Is it under warranty??

Problem resolved seems that the keypad was at fault an not just the one I got seems all the black keypads hav a xz key instead of the yx an all are 8100 I wonder why this is so

Germany and some other places use qwertz keyboard layout instead of qwerty... so in suretype keys would be tz & yx instead of ty and zx... Maybe this is why
