I have a blackberry pearl 8120 and a month ago I downloaded Desktop software to back up my blackberry to my computer. well ever since then I can't see the about section in the settings. The about section meaning where you can see what version you have etc. I don't know if these two are related but does anyone know how I could possibly fix this?

yes I did, I beleive whenever I wanted to add more memory that may have been a program that I lost. Is there any way I can get that back?

Thats why. Once VAD is removed you loose the ability to see the about screen.

oh well shoot I wish I would have known that, because I deleted it does that mean it is gone for good?

While holding down the ALT button(very left corner button) press RACE and you will pull up your help screen and it will show you your version and free file memory...

is that the most updated version that is available?
