For install instruction to load any carrier 8220 OS on your BB:
1. Download desired OS to your PC
2. Install/run OS to PC
3. Delete vendor.xml file. It's located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader (only if your not with Claro Argentina)
4. Connect BB to Desktop Manager and it should prompt the upgrade. If not click app loader and that should initialize it.
5. Do not unplug BB during the process. It will take around 30-60 minutes to complete upgrade.

UPDATE: Loaded the new OS and it fixed the speakerphone squelching. The microphone is back to normal. So far that's the only thing I see that is different. I would have to see what else is different.
i'm still having the messaging problem. .180 is the last version to work properly without any errors. could it be a hardware issue?

went from .209 up to this .222 late this morning. So far so good except for one thing. My weatherbug portal forecast icon won't come back online. For whatever reason this newer OS version tells weatherbug that there are no available portal applications for this device.
But thats a minimal problem at best.
Also.. the phone seems to run just a bit more cleanly than 209. Seems faster. Also it seems my memory is better.
haha, I couldn't either but I've been through the english one enough to guess correctly. throw it in a translator or just keep clicking till you get it right. or maybe it would be easier to go through the steps on an english version and follow along with the spanish one.

if you haven't had it yet you probably won't. basically my phone freezes up for a while whenever i get an e-mail or sms. after it unfreezes, it tells me that my messaging app has failed.

You jinxed me,I now receive error messages.Just downgraded back to .180
I got .222 and I also see the memory managment seems to be a bit better... Seems a little faster as well. Everything is fast, clean and working great so far. I am not getting any problems with messaging on my berry flip atm.
