    1. Back up data on Desktop Manager under Back up/restore option
    2. Back up your 3rd party apps. Instructions here--> http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-...cations-53201/
    3. Disconnect your BB from Desktop Manager

So far so good. No real noticeable change from .55. I'm having a terrible battery drain however. Charged overnight and had to plug up by 3PM. Not sure yet if its the os or the new google maps street view I loaded and played with for about 15 min.

.69 was not known for battery issues but google maps is a big killer. Also posting a lot from the wap forums won't help.

Yeah, I'm taking all that into consideration. Not freaking out. Just documenting and keeping an eye on it.

Google maps street view must have been the battery killer. Much better today. I had an entry in options that said OTA updates. I ran it yesterday and it said no updates found, and now it's gone? The only thing thats bugging me is on my go to screen in the browser, It use to have a search entry right under the address bar. Thats gone and it was pretty convenient. If any one knows how to get that back, let me know.

Got 4.5.0.69 rel 92 installed. I'm noticing the same types of changes that I noticed when I upgraded my 8310 - moderately snappier app loading/performance, video recording, and general quickness. I'm not noticing any unusual battery drain, but I've only been using it for around an hour, so we'll see.

I'm liking it as well as I liked it on my 8310.

O.K. you seem to be confused, you have loaded 4.5.0.55. Ignore the package or build number. This thread is for 4.5.0.69. Which is the newest o.s.
