I have a used 8100 and i want to wipe everything just like new. It has some security from a IT Server and I cant access the media card and I have to use a password. I have tried to wipe it clean and loaded the 4.5 OS. I just want to be able to listen to my tunes. I got a new company 8310 and this is my old one which my company saind I could have. So I will get new ATT service for it just do not want to be restricted.

Have you asked your IT department to remove the IT Policy? If they will remove the policy, you'll save yourself a lot of work.
Too, people in the forum are sometimes reluctant to help a person make a phone usable if the provenance of the phone appears questionable. It's nothing against you personally, it's just that's the kind of story that could easily be made up, and has been in the past, so folks are a little more cautious now.
