Picked up the Pearl for personal use and have 2 questions:

    1. Does it always take this long to access pictures in the device memory. Will adding a micro SD card help?

    2. Being a former 8700 user, is there a CTRL-ALT-DELETE reset function or will I have to remove the battery each time?

Other than trying to get use to the stupid keyboard, it's pretty good. Still like my corporate Curve better...

If you get an SD card it should be faster.

There's an application called a soft reset that you can DL that will allow you not to do a battery pull. Just search for it in the forum. It works well.

You'll get used to the keyboard! It's a great phone!

Wow, you went from a 8700 to a pearl, that's a big difference! I had a 8703 and loved it but now have a curve. I often miss the 8703's keyboard, to me it's better than the curves.
    Enjoy your new Pearl!!!

Thanks everyone. Since the Pearl will be for personal use, I thought the keyboard will prevent me from doing too much data stuff. I also have a Curve for work.
