when i go to menu and options it brings up a screen to like vibrate when receiving a ping and stuff like that. when i go to my status it says available and unavailable.

i didn't buy a blackberry plan, since mine has wi-fi, i'll just use that wherever i am that has it.

sorry, go to the options icon on your desktop then select status to find your pin.

I am not sure if you can use BB messenger over wifi or not. BB messenger is not set up to use text messaging.

I have a dumb question... why would you use someones pin over there phone number for sending a message? or are there more uses for a pin then I know about

There are SMS charges for texting, not for pinning.

Also, Blackberry Messenger allows voice note exchanges, smileys, pictures, more than 160 characters, etc. More feature rich than plain SMS!

    Oh! I forgot....

I find my pin by typing "mypin" and then space into any text imput area. It then changes to display this: pin:317ac61b

    Very cool!!!

Lololol T-mobile doesn't give unlimited texting with the bb data plan? =X and the data plan cost more than sprint? glad I didn't go with them XD!

Just had to say that :X

But yea Options > Status should show your pin or plug it into your computer and view it on your desktop manager..
