    Dear All,

I just use 8100 for a few days and this is my first experience with BB...since the beginning, the LED always blinks green, even when the battery is full and the BB is idle..

I wonder...is this normal? or there's something wrong with it....all the functions are considered normal...

    Thanks a lot...

The light will blink green to show that you are in an area where you have cell coverage. In other words, if it is blinking green then you have a signal.

It will blink red when you have a new message, voicemail, browser notification, text, etc.

    So it is normal.

Welcome to Crackberry, yes the good Kanga is correct. If the blinking bothers you, as it does me, you can switch it off. Go to options, screen/keyboard, LED coverage indicator and change it to off. Press the back key and save.
