I recently purchased an 8110 from AT&T. I am using OS version 4.3.0.93. I would like to get some software where I can read (I would also like edit) Microsoft Word documents. ANy help please. I went to DataViz for Docs To Go and they required an OS version of 4.5. I would like to keep the OS I have now. Do not want to run into problems upgrading my phone. Thanks in advance.
You are correct that Docs2go requires 4.5. You could consider eoffice from dynoplex. Its not free but you can edit /create word and excel docs. I believe they offer a chance to trial it before you buy.
I upgraded to OS4.5 to use Docs to go. I have no problem reading, but memory issue with too little memory to edit. I am working on that issue. When you upgrade, Docs to Go is free.
