Can anyone help, I'm trying to load a micro SD card, 4gb. Everytime I put it in, all I get is the hourglass. It goes for a couple minutes, rooboots and hourglass comes back on. When I remove the card, everything is fine. My 8820 is v4.2.2.169. I've tryied removing the battery for extended periods of time, but same problem. Please help

Sounds like a bad sd card.

I wondered if it might be an OS limitation, but according to the post below, 4.2.2.169 supports SDHC cards up to 4GB.

That leaves SD card problems. Have you tried booting the phone without the SD card in it, then inserting the card? That might allow you to reformat the card using the phone. If you have a USB SD card reader, you could try reformatting the card on your computer.
