    My Micro SD card that I had in my XpressMusic 5310 is not fitting into my 8100. It fits nice 'n snug-like in the tray, but the lock does not come down.

    Same with my other 8100...

    I believe you have to slide it in the metal part that flips up and then close it and slide to lock.

    But now... How do I read the card? Went into media to read the music and idk what to do. All that's there is Preloaded Media.

    Format it? They're all in MP3 format.

    It's like the Berry isn't even recognizing it. I've got images on there too, in JPEG format, that are not being read.

    Make sure in media card options that media card support is on. Be sure to enable mass media storage.
    You then should be able to access your media card from your pc without media manager.

    yeah i used to have a nokia express music phone, and i just poped my sd card in and it worked fine the first time, i guess i just got lucky

    Haha. Both, actually. Won't connect to OS X or XP SP3. In XP, it recognizes that a USB device has been connected, but has no idea what to do with it.
