I have the 8130 pearl and have the most updated os for it. Everytime i do a battery pull or soft reset bb messanger says i have switch devices and do i want to update my contacts. when i say yes they all go to the pending PIN update confirmation, if i say no i lose them all. Please help me fix this.

I checked it, it is enableb but Include Address Book was set to No...would this mean anything or fix the problem? I thought Address book had nothing to do with blackberry messenger.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem? larsf227, where you able to get this fixed? I'm having the same issue.
