so heres yet another silly question of mine... everyone keeps talking about PINs and blah blah blah... why cant i add anyone to my messenger outside of my contact list and entering a phone number? perhaps im too blonde for my own good...

jena... The PIN everyone talks about is your device id. So if they don't have a BB, then no PIN. Go to Options>Status and it will show you your PIN#

hi! i feel like you answer all my questions!
i know what my pin is.. but when i actually go into my messenger and try to add a new contact, all my phone pulls up is my contact list. so i guess my question is.. how do i add someone via their pin?

Oh...
in messanger click menu>add a contact> and when the address book opens scroll to the top and highlight use once but do not click it. Then click menu and select request by pin.
