i got my blackberry like 3 days ago an i want to put music into it. after lots of trial and error, heres where im at:

a 2gb (whatever it is) storage card is in the correct place
i have formatted the card from the device
on advanced options>media card> it lookslike this:
    media card support: on
    encryption mode: none
    MSMS: on
auto enable MSM when connected: yes

    __________
    total space: 1.92 GB
    free space: 1.92 GB

when i plug it in with my USB cord and open the desktop manager, i can successfully make a connection. when i click on media manager, my computers files opn on the left and (heres the problem) only DEVICE STORAGE is on the right.

why wont it register that i have a media card?!?!?

Alright, first off can you restart both your phone and your computer?

Then Re-open your desktop manager and plug in your phone.

If your Memory card doesn't show up we can problem solve from there.
When the card is in, your screen should look similar to this...

    Yaycrackberry,

Have you enabled mass media storage? You can try skipping media manager and access your BB as a usb drive, then copy music to your phone that way.

They did say it was enabled, but I agree. I hate media manager. Goto my computer and open the drive that way. Simple drag and drop from where your music is on your pc and done.

ok now my computer is recognizing it in my computer>removable discs> H

so i just drag things into the folders? i did that an when i disconnected, all that was in the media card file was a folder that said 'up'

could you take the card out of the phone, use a card reader to load your songs to the card with your pc, and then reinsert the card into the phone. that is how my son puts songs on his phone...never tried it with my blackberry, just used drag and drop with media manager.
