Anyone know how to get the 8130 to accept more than 160 in a SMS? Most other phones allow run-on txting and make multiple messages out of it. I can't get the Pearl to do it. Quite frustrating.

SMS Standard is 160 Chars. Some carriers and devices have ESMS which allow you to write more. My only suggestions would be to either call the person if you have that much to talk about, or write them an email.

LOL... that is a pretty long text. Technology can be such a crutch.

Is it possible to receive a "run-on" text? My friend texts me all the time and her phone does that mulitple text messaging when she's filled all the characters up, anyways, when she sends them to me I only get the first one, and never the second one that finishes up what she's saying...

so is it my phone or hers?
