8100 4.5.0.124
Question-
I cannot find a good anwser to this so I thought I would rely on trusty crackberry users.
What is the max mini sd size limit?
I read 1gig, 2gig, and even an 8gig miniSDHC card?
Any SD 8 or above will be designated HD as a norm. That's because it's high density in the same size packaging as the original SD's. I can't imagine it would be a problem at all. Let me know if you'd like a very inexpensive online store.

Yes, I definitely should. And no problem, that's what we're here for. I was in your shoes not so long ago, and someday soon you could be an expert too.

A microSD media card is a removable flash memory data storage device. When inserted into a BlackBerry smartphone, it can extend the memory available for storing media files such as videos, ring tones, pictures, or songs. The media card is sold separately from the BlackBerry smartphone.
The following table lists BlackBerry Device Software versions and the supported media card size.
BlackBerry Device Software Media Card Size Limit
BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.0 Up to 2 GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.1 Up to 4 GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.2 Up to 4 GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.2.196 Up to 8 GB per Verizon Release Notes and confirmed by users.
BlackBerry Device Software 4.3.0 Up to 8 GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.5.0 Up to 8 GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.5.0.81 and later Up to 16 GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.6.0 and later Up to 32 GB
so that leads me to a question, I have 4.5.0.162 on my phone and had previously had .124.have been using a 8gb card just fine, is the current OS capable of handling a 16GB?
