my IT guy had me wipe my 8110 yesterday and now my only addresses in my rolodex are from the original sim card I brought over to the blackberry. I sync it frequently, so where are the 400 contacts, addresses, phone numbers, birthdays etc...I've added in the past year!? I restored to a couple weeks ago and nothing-some old emails showed up and thats about it. Please help before I roof test this f'ing blackberry!

I hope, that mean you do have a recient Backup.

If so, use Advanced Restore to verify your Contact database is present and copy it to your Peal.

Look for your backup file in, Documents/My Documents. It will have the format Backup(data).IPD.

To recover the contacts are saved on your SIM card:

Load the SIM card phone book
1. In the address book, press the Menu key.
2. Click SIM Phone Book.
3. Wait for the SIM card phone book to load.
4. Press the Escape key.

sadly this restored only a portion of my contacts. Why they are all weren't backing up is beyond me. I lost like 400 email addresses and bus/personal addresses. Thanks BB.
