I have had my Pearl for a few months now and now twice in the last 10 days my call log, emails, and text message logs have emptied themselves. The emails are still on my computer and my address book is fine on the phone, but the logs are gone...does anyone have any ideas how I get it to quit doing this??
Your device is most likely running out of memory. You need to free up space on your device, which is not easy to do on a Pearl. The first thing to do isremove all media out of the device memory and save it to a microSD card. Outside of that the next best thing is to remove any unneeded apps that were downloaded and change your messages settings to save for a set amount of time rather than forever. Same with calendar.
you should also get the app "QuickPull" which simulates a battery pull, to clear any caches being held in the memory, and set it to run every night. worked for me!
