First off... total noob here so be nice!

I picked up a 8130 last night and did the bone head thing of pluging it in on my work desktop to charge it. So now I have all of my work security protocols set on my personal Bbry. How can I delete this? Do I have to wipe clean? And if I do, do I lose my phone activation w/ Verizon? As a sidenote, I did read the FAQ on removing this, trick is, I have a Mac at home....

Secondly, I know a lot of you have been software and accessory guinnea pigs (thanks!) so I was looking to see what you folks have determined to be the essential things to have on your Pearls?

    Thanks!!!

PS- I accidently posted this in the wrong forum earlier.

I think what OP is saying is that he accidentally put his work IT policy on to his BB.

I'm pretty sure it cant get there, unless you backed up or sync'd it,
But the IT is the only way to remove that.

to my work desktop and it asked if I wanted to change to my Pearl for my device and I clicked no, but it installed the IT protocol anyways.

While it doesn't say IT protocol on any of the security settings, the password ENABLE is locked and when I tried to download any 3rd party app, I get the IT protocol block message.

Ideas on how to wipe the IT protocol from a Mac?
