is "level one message" another word for "PIN" message?

No "level one" refers to the priority of the message, for example text and emails are level one messages. You can set pin messages to be level one as well

I am REALLY bad with technology!! LOL

This is why I ask:
I was customizing different ringtones for (email, text, messenger) but i wanted a seperate ringtone for PIN messages.

Is there a way to do this?

This is just my suggestion, if you set pin messages to level one you can set a ringtone for that and then set a ring tone for sms(text) but I think your pin and email will then have the same tone. Maybe someone else has a better suggestion. Hope this help a little

Go to messages>menu>option>general settings>select make pin messages level 1>save
