I've had my Blackberry Pearl for about two months now and this morning a serious problems involving the keypad developed with it. The keys seem seriously misaligned; for instance, when pressing the scroller ball, it makes a sound like it is a number key, and when in the menu to dial a number, pressing it gives me a 2, as if I pressed the two key.
Holding down one on the main screen does not let me access my voicemail, but rather asks if I would like to assign a speedial to key 2. There are various other misalignments which basically making texting, or even calling, impossible. The delete key doesn't work, and simply spams a series of letters.
It seems the keys are seriously misaligned, and I'm not sure what to do. I've seen some topics mention reseating the keypad on Blackberry Pearls, but never how to do that.
So is there any way to fix my keypad, or am I out of a blackberry?
