is there a way to turn it on and off? I would love to know! I bought my pearl used and the keyboard light hasn't come on once since I purchased it. I really doubt its software since I've wiped the OS and re-installed. The ball did not light up either, until I installed colorpearl.

Mine comes on when I hit any key, or the screen comes on.
