Got my email setup.

In the default menu I have DoMore, Setup Wizard, Messages, my email, Call log, and applications.

All my emails are showing up in both my email and my messages. Is there a way I can set it up so that my emails show up ONLY in my email, and my messages (i.e. texts, etc) show up only in my messages? It's kind of superfluous to have both there...and I'd like to keep them separate.

Yes,you can, open "sms/mms", -options-sms and email inboxes-change to "separate".

The function of the messages folder is to have a central folder which has all messages. You can choose to have separate email and SMS inboxes. But you will always see email in the messages folder.

I see. So, how can I set up a separate SMS inbox then?

I'm sort of new at this and am browsing around the site trying to find various pieces of information.

That's true. One solution:

1. Separate the inbox's as mentioned above.
2. Show all icons on your home screen, unhide the SMS/MMS icon.
3. Hide the Messages icon.

Now you'll have a box for emails, and a box for just SMS/MMS messages.
