I switched from an 8110 to an 8120, never used the gps, wanted the wifi. The 8120 is from Tmo, I unlocked o.k. and the at&t sim works o.k., am having issues with the wifi.

I have upgraded the os to v4.5.0.124. no problems.

I have set up per "Complete WiFi How-To" thread.

I get: Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later. If problem persists please contact your service provider.

    1. Do I set the "Data Services" in the Mobile Network Options to on or off? Have tried both ways doesn't seem to make a difference.

    2. I scan for network and have no problem locating the router. In the Wi-Fi Connections under Saved Wi-Fi Profiles there is:
HotSpot (with nothing next to it)
@Home (with nothing next to it)
default (this is my router) next to it is a a yellow circle with a minus sign
and a blue outline of a signal tower.

What symbol should be by my router named "default"?

    3. I still have the UNC address and the Gateway address as a t-mobile sites, I don't know how to change that or what the AT&T addresses are. And there is an error code W004.

    The Wi-Fi Diagnostics as follows:
