I have a Pearl 8130 that is two weeks old. It has what an Alltel rep described as an ink leak that has rendered 3/4 of the display useless. The leak originates just above the sim card insert on the left side of the phone. Has anyone heard of this happening to Alltel's 8130? The rep said it was from pressure being exerted on the display panel. I've had the Curve 8330 for a long time and have not had this problem. This appears to be an equipment malfunction.
Are you talking about the LCD screen? If so, have it replaced through warranty or you can change it yourself but you void your warranty if you disassemble it.
